ATAMA is an architectural practice working on transformative projects with pressing social, cultural and ecological challenges. Your responsibilities
– Develop and execute the studio’s PR and communication strategy (press, social media, website, awards, publications, …)
– Identify and pursue new business opportunities — competitions, tenders, direct client relationships
– Prepare pitches, portfolios and presentations for prospective clients and competitions
– Coordinate with architects and project leaders to translate ongoing projects into compelling content
– Track market developments, competitors and relevant tenders
What you bring
– A degree in communication, marketing, business, or a related field (a background in architecture/construction is a plus, not a requirement)
– 3+ years of experience in PR, business development or acquisition, ideally within architecture, construction or a creative industry
– Excellent writing and storytelling skills in Dutch and English. French is a plus.
– A strong, self-starting network builder who is comfortable initiating contact
– Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on, get-it-done attitude
– Affinity with architecture and design
– Fluent in Dutch and English. French is a plus

Full time project leader architect with 5+ years experience (deadline applications 31/08/2026)
ATAMA is looking for an experienced architect with the right capabilities to draft large-scale, complex tender dossiers and/or ensure consistent site supervision. Your responsibilities will include developing tender dossiers, and overseeing and coordinating construction sites.

You will create highly precise drawings, bills of quantities, and specifications, and will be responsible for cost calculations. You will communicate effectively with partners, the construction director, and the project team members you lead, both internally and externally, ensuring quality (process) control at every phase of a project.
Curiosity, combined with a strong foundation of knowledge in construction and building, is the cornerstone of this role. You are a positive representative of ATAMA and will develop a solid understanding of the working methodology. While your focus will primarily be project-based, you may also be asked to take on broader responsibilities related to the studio or research topics. A flexible attitude is expected. You show initiative, are proactive, and highly motivated.
EXPERIENCE
– You hold a degree as an (engineer-)architect
– You have 5 or more years of experience in a similar role
– You have a solid understanding of design and construction processes
– Knowledge of public procurement legislation is a plus
– You speak fluent Dutch, knowledge of English and/or French is an advantage
– Proficiency in the most common (CAD) software is required
– Knowledge of BIM processes is a plus

– You can translate technically complex designs into feasible projects with a high degree of refinement and precision
– You are strong in communication, have a proactive attitude, and are skilled at leading internal and external teams
– You are self-critical, organized, able to distinguish between main and minor issues, and can manage deadlines and budgets effectively
– You possess the ability to engage in complex discussions constructively and persuasively.
